Toronto cops took two alleged pimps off the board but fear they may have a multitude of victims.

Police say human trafficking detectives identified a man they suspected of running an illicit sex ring on Jan. 25.

On Feb. 19, Simon Ho-On, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with 21 sex trafficking-related crimes.

Since then, additional alleged victims have come forward.

Cops allege Ho-On and his partner preyed upon a 22-year-old woman who was allegedly drugged, beaten and forced through the barrel of a gun to perform sex acts for cash.

And in a final indignity, she was allegedly branded so everyone knew who she belonged to.

“He tattooed her body with his nickname of ‘Sosa’ to let people know that she was his property,” said Det. Sgt. Nunzio Tramontozzi claimed in a statement released at the time.

Her wares were allegedly advertised on sex market sites like backpage.com, vipfavours.com and leolist.com.

“Both men would arrange for her to attend out-calls to provide sexual services to clients,” Tramontozzi alleged, claiming “the two men used deception, intimidation and fear to exercise control over her actions.”

Among other charges, Ho-On is charged with assault, sexual assault, voyeurism, procuring, exercise control, trafficking in persons by recruiting, transporting, and harbouring, threatening death and bodily harm and a litany of other charges.

Meanwhile, cops have arrested a Quebec man in relation to another human trafficking probe.

According to investigators, between September 2018 and January 2019 a female met a male through a social media application.

The woman was allegedly coerced into working in the sex trade while the suspect allegedly peddled her out online and facilitated interactions with johns.

On May 3, Patrick Raphael Duchard, 29, of Quebec was arrested in Victoria, B.C., and extradited to Toronto to face a litany of human trafficking-related charges.

Investigators are concerned there may be more victims. The accused pimp is reportedly known on the streets as V12.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 416-808-7474 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
